it seems that the initial version of deckadance 2 will be free, and while im not sure how the release strategy will work, i know that there will be an upgrade to the pro version. we are hoping to have a free upgrade for the standard version to the pro version within the next few months, but the upgrade process can take up to 90 days and sometimes longer. so you might want to keep your eyes on the deckadance site for updates on the pro version of deckadance 2

i had been waiting for a straight up dvs dj tool for a long time, deckadance 2 is it. in fact, it was more than i was expecting. it looks and feels like the real deal. a lot of features are already available in the standard version. the software is very intuitive to use, and there is a full set of customization options to make this system perfect for you. for example, i found the audio routing options to be very intuitive and useful. there is a lot of flexibility with this product. it is hard to believe the amount of effort that has gone into creating this software. only one thing really bugs me: why are the decks on the left side of the screen and the song list on the right? i think that would be the most convenient layout. but then, i am a spoiled dj and a lot of other djs would think the same.
