Carbon: Count All Entries from Date Range on Day
I am trying to count all entries from a date range, but would like to count each record individually. Each product has a unique ID, but I would like to still query Carbon by date range, as I need to know the total number of products.
My current code is:
Carbon::parse($post[‘orderdate’])
->startOfDay()
->diffForHumans();
I’m not sure how to grab all the results into an array and perform a count.

You could use QuerySubclass to do this and then count the results.
$query = Product::select(‘id’);
$products = $query->where(‘active’, 1)
->where(‘start_at’, ‘>=’, Carbon::now())
->where(‘end_at’, ‘count();
echo $products;
Count will then return you the number of products for each run where start_at and end_at are valid.

My system only recognises the bluetooth chip as a usb device. This means that my bluetooth keyboard is useless because it is always recognised as a usb keyboard. I have a new 3g cellphone too that should work… but i dont want to plug it in to my computer…
There is a general discussion about this regarding XP and USB. IIRC, the problem is that VirtualBox USB host controllers are not HAL compliant and apparently are not nearly as good as the native ones on Windows. You should probably just live with this and not use the USB controllers for the ‘B’ devices and expect some issues.

While it’s true that the only working solution for the VMware host is to use usb devices inside the guest, it’s not true that external usb devices don’t work. I have been using VBox with a 3G modem from more than a year with no problems. However, I am not using external devices directly on my VBox. Rather, I create a guest windows and then I click right on the 3G modem and select “USB port” as source.

I’m using an external usb modem which was working flawlessly in VirtualBox.
Now it seems to be not working any more. I am getting this error message:
“Error: The VirtualBox kernel driver is not accessible to the current user. Make sure that the user has write permissions for /dev/vboxdrv by adding them to the vboxusers groups. You will need to logout for the changes to take effect.”
I can reboot the machine and get back to the menu normally. So, first thing I did was to add the user I have to the vboxusers group (I’m using Linux).
Then, I logged out and back in again (I was in the virtual windows machine).
