the goal of our navdata weather addon is to provide the most detailed weather data for fsx, prepar3d and x-plane. this data product is sourced from the jeppesen navdata company, and unlike our standard approach, we are trying to use this data to better model the full weather world that is accessible to all aircraft. the resulting data product is of course geared towards the flight planning community, but in addition it should add a good real weather experience in your simulator. our navdata product includes a full data set, and all the necessary tools to derive more accurate weather data within the simulator. follow the faq link for more information.

Piloting business or commercial aircraft is probably more interesting to most of us, and this addon provides a very flexible and realistic way to do it. The user can select either IFR or VFR from the start, and each aircraft, in addition to being able to select a single runway or include up to four, also has a number of different specific layout variations to select from. One of the interesting additions to the addon is that the addon now supports a New Waypoint Type, with “Dotted Line” indicating a waypoint which can be reached not only via direct route, but also from the same waypoint to either of the other waypoints which are connected to it. This allows you to use other waypoints outside of your direct route to complete your flight, and use the waypoints within the addon to reach the same purpose.
There are also a number of other “new” features such as the ability to display the detailed flight plan in a single wing and to save this into the aircraft’s cockpit memory for instant replay and a flight control board which can be used to control the plane. These are just a small number of the new features available within this release. Keep in mind that this addon still supports the “older” features of the addon to allow P3D users to continue their flights in exactly the same way that they have always been. With these “old” features, the users are able to continue along their normal route and complete their missions, along with all of the benefits that come with this type of functionality.
The original FS:X training simulator for the PC was created by Aerosoft, the company that develops flight simulation software for Microsoft, and is currently the market leader in the professional flight simulator business. FSX was released to the public in October of 2002, and has been the most popular flight simulator on the PC ever since. FSX is a comprehensive package containing a virtual world in which the game is played. In addition to the virtual cockpit, a range of game-mapping tools (which could be used to build a virtual world), system configuration, player utilities (such as auto-detection, support for scripting, auto-configuration, etc.), a flight tool (the Flight Simulator), additional scenery, and the original airfield, and airports set, as well as some other additional packages. Since March 2005 the scripting capabilities have been upgraded. There are a great many additional downloadable add-on (DLC) packages from different developers and companies. Notably, there are several flight add-on packages which add new features and content to FSX, and if you are looking for new games to play or new planes to fly, then this is the right place to search.
