The Gradient can be used to create complex patterns in your image. It’s useful for adding a transition effect, like dirt, sand or snow. You can also use it to add shadows, to create light, or to put a shadow behind a figure. This tool is great for making edges look matte.
Resizing: The Resize tool can be used to resize any image with its new maximum size and the few preset sizes it has: 72% x 72%; 100%; 125%; and 150%. It does this without quality or speed loss, so you can get high-quality results with great speed.
Padding: The Padding tool is useful when you want to create frames for your images. This tool allows you to add borders to your image, with a gradient, which you will be able to change using the Pen tool.
The Airbrush tool allows you to paint on any part of an image with a choice of several brush sizes, a newly added option to draw on parts of your image. Once you have done this, you will be able to paint with the same brush size or choose from 8 brush sizes.
New Layer Structure and Layout: New Layer Structure allows you to setup your layers and merge images, apply text or other editing tools. Each bracketed image within a composite layer is a new layer and is instantly arranged in a sequential or thumbnail view.
