Rather than wait until I upgrade all my apps to iOS 10, I decided to go ahead and make the change to Rue Ami I mentioned above. Version 1.2 is now available on the App Store as of January 9, 2017. Now, both the Select List screen and the Delete screen show the correct numbers for the current size of your list and for how many empty slots you have left. As also indicated above, any time you think the figures are inaccurate, you can always go to the Buy screen and click the Restore button to have the correct numbers appear for your current session.
