If you are downloading this file on a Windows operating system, please check your security settings as described in Microsoft’s download properties. If the downloaded file is a program file, a default value of False (disabled) will be used. The bannable items are located in this file, and can be edited by creating another file from the Web. This is achieved by making a copy of ban.cfg, and changing the relevant line(s) to meet your needs. Careful attention should be paid to the line noauth=False at the very top. This protects against allowing any potentially dangerous file to be downloaded.

If you fail to install correctly, it is likely that you will get a HLSVC_BANNED_EXECUTABLE_INSTALL_ERR error on start.
